the name
samatvaṁ yoga ucyate
Bhagavad Gita · 2.48
In the Gita, yoga is samatva — evenness of mind. A steady, open clarity that can be practiced, and the whole intention behind the name.
the vision
One practice, many doorways.
Health is many things held in balance. Samatva begins with the whole person: how we move and breathe, how we work, how we rest, and how we eat. Four threads, one steady centre.

at the heart of it
Hi, I'm Shashi.
I came to this practice through my own life, and breath and stillness gave me back a clarity I now love to share.
I grew up in India, in a traditional family where holistic health was simply part of daily life — it was how a day was arranged — what we ate and when, how we rested, how we breathed. Those practices were ordinary to me long before they were anything I studied.
Years later, after a career in tech, I came back to them deliberately and trained in them formally. Today I'm a yoga and breathwork instructor, certified in Ayurveda Nutrition & Yoga Wellness Coaching. Samatva is where the upbringing and the training meet — one practice of living well, offered to anyone who wants it.
